So I am now about two weeks in to my new job as an Engineering Manager at Monzo Bank! 🙌🏻

I started this process back in July, and will eventually go into more detail about it all and talk about my experiences and why I made the leap to a people management role rather than continue to grow as an Individual Contributor... Incoming shortly!

For those of you who aren't familiar with Monzo however, they are a digital-only bank based in the UK (currently). They have caused a stir in the sense they believe passionately about "making money work for everybody", and with that have gained a considerable and dedicated following of supporters in the UK.

They have three years in a row been voted LinkedIn's "Best UK Startup" and are consistently topping lists of most desirable places to work in the UK. I was drawn to the company for the amount of incredibly talented engineers and people leaders they have working together to make such a ground-breaking service and the ability to surround myself with such sheer talent seemed just a dream when I was in the early stages of applying.

I have never felt so welcomed to any job I have had in my life and I feel blessed to be able to continue my career at Monzo ❤️
